Dr. Dee grew up in Melbourne and graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2014, earning a place on the Dean’s Honour List.

His veterinary journey began in coastal Victoria, where he spent two years in mixed practice, treating animals of all shapes and sizes. A brief stint in the pharmaceutical industry followed before he transitioned into small animal emergency practice in Sydney.

Seeking new experiences, Dee and his wife, Ciara, moved to Ireland, where he worked in mixed practice for 1.5 years. From calvings and lambings to treating dogs with broken legs, he embraced the variety of rural veterinary life. During this time, he developed a keen interest in complex diseases and surgery in cats and dogs. To further his expertise, he completed a General Practitioner Certificate and a Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery in London. He then spent 2.5 years as a senior small animal vet in County Kildare, refining his surgical and medical skills.

In 2022, Dee returned to Australia, working in a busy small animal clinic on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. He recently moved to the Central Coast with with his wife and two dogs—Chroí, an English Springer Spaniel, and Ceol, an English Setter. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring the outdoors that the Central Coast has to offer and spending time in the garden.
